Regarding Widow Marriage

Вопрос:
As we read in Srila Prabhupad's books that women are honored in Vedic culture and they should be always kept protected, then what is view of Vedas about the trend of arranging marriage of widows. Please explain how they should be treated when she does not have support from either sides paternal and by laws. Please explain what is view of ISKCON and Vaishnava culture in this regard.
