Distributing Bhagavad-gita in Africa

Q1) A few months back Your Holiness had posted a comment on the Book Distribution Network about the fact that in Srila Prabhupada's time book distribution (by the Library Party) was not done by giving away free books to institutions which were sponsored by well-wishers.
Rather the institutions were encouraged to buy the books.
The query I had is that should we apply the same principle everywhere, even in places where poverty is widespread, thus making hard for
institutions to afford to buy books?
Q2) Here in our zone there is an option to buy a Bhagavad-gita from the BBT which does not have the sanskrit or word to word translation
of the sanskrit text and thus no 'index of verses' either. It just has the english translation. Thus it is smaller and also cheaper. Is this
OK to distribute as I had never seen this type of Bhagavad-gita in the BBT before.
Q3) When distributing books is it good to collect contacts of the people who buy the books for follow up? Or is it better to focus on
trying to distribute as many books as possible and simply hand out our contacts for persons who may want to contact us in future?
