[53:00] „...The message of Kṛṣṇa very heavy. Guru means one who speaks message of Kṛṣṇa. So, it is a very heavy message, in as much as…it is shocking. It is unwelcome to almost everyone: Surrender to Kṛṣṇa, take the position of the servant of Kṛṣṇa. Practically, who wants to hear this? It is a very heavy message. The message is that whatever you are doing is all wrong, so you should simply just give all that up and surrender to Kṛṣṇa. Whatever hogwash you have learned, Śrīla Prabhupāda used to quote, just forget it and surrender at lotus feet of Caitanya Candra. So, it is a very heavy message. Those who accept a guru, they receive that message. The message is placed in heart, the guru transmits the knowledge of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa consciousness, Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa bhakti. He gives this heaviness…

So, how can we carry that message, we are tiny jīvas? How can we carry that what guru has to give, there is nothing light, it is very heavy, so how can we carry that? How can we be strong enough to carry that message? I had some idea about this when Gokulacandra prabhu was showing me pillars for the temple in Salem. That one pillar has to carry so much weight, much more weight than the pillar itself. But for the pillar to do that, it has to be absolutely straight standing up. It has to be free of any defect, has to be strong. If you just bring some cheap stone, with all the cracks in it, it can’t hold a weight. If you put a little bit of an angle, it can not hold the weight. So, it has to be under certain conditions, by which one pillar can carry so much weight. So the disciple also has to be straight, not crooked…It has to be of superior quality, without any cracks. Then we can actually carry the weight of carrying Kṛṣṇa, carrying the message of Kṛṣṇa…”
